The Conahy senior camogie girls enjoyed a fine victory over St. Martin's in their opening game of the Senior League in Muckalee on Sunday 8th May. The home side led by 1-6 to 0-6 at the half time break, but Conahy produced a fine second half performance to take the lead. St. Martin's did come back to level the game in the final minutes, but Conahy showed good composure to score three consecutive points to win out by 1-20 to 3-11.
