Myshall 4-12 | Conahy 3-10

No

The Conahy senior camogie girls were unfortunately defeated by the Carlow champions Naomh Eoin (Myshall) in the Leinster Club Intermediate Championship quarter-final on Saturday 28th Nov. in Myshall. The home side were by far the better side in the opening half, and with the benefit of the wind opened up a 3-11 to 2-4 lead at the half-time break, with the Conahy goals coming from Danielle Morrissey (penalty) and Ellen Gunner, along with three points from play from Emma Mulhall.

Conahy were much better in the second half, and soon reduced the deficit to five points early in the half, thanks in particular to a third goal, this time from Miriam O'Keeffe. But they were dealt a blow when Myshall responded almost immediately with a fourth goal. Conahy fought back once again as time went on, but there was not enough time to close the gap, and Myshall won out by 4-12 to 3-10. Hard luck to the girls and the management team of Brian Phelan, Kieran Brennan, John Feehan and Gemma Dowling.
